Get your taste buds ready for the Gold Rush Burger Battle, because we are in it to win it.

From April 17-23, 2024, visit the Horseshoe Restaurant at First Gold Gaming Resort in Deadwood to try our featured burger, The Whiskey Round-Up.

The Whiskey Round-Up features two ½-pound handcrafted beef patties seasoned to perfection. It comes with lettuce, onion, tomato, and dill pickles, and is served on a toasted Brioche bun. The bottom patty is topped with our delicious house-made whiskey sauce, two strips of fresh bacon, and Pepper Jack cheese. The top patty is topped with our house-made special honey habanero sauce, sautéed onions, and American cheese.

Visit us to try this delicious burger, then vote for us at https://www.deadwood.com/event/gold-rush-burger-battle/. You have two weeks to vote. Burgers are ranked on flavor, patty, toppings, bun, and presentation. The overall winner will be announced after the final week of voting ends on May 29.

We are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday to Thursday, and from 7 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

The Gold Rush Burger Battle is a collaboration between the Deadwood and Lead chambers of commerce and features two “burgers of the week” every week from March 20 to May 21, 2024.
